Alpina Extralite Aero bladed spokes
Since 1926, Alpina Raggi has been producing spokes in Italy that offer a superior balance of weight, strength, and consistency. By combining traditional craftsmanship with modern industrial capability, their current offerings often outperform many other leading brands in both fatigue resistance and tensile strength.
Alpina Extralite spokes are made from high-grade 302 stainless steel, and feature a 2.3mm x 1.2mm flat middle section and 2.0mm ends.
The thin, flat middle section requires special care while building up a wheel, and must be supported using a bladed spoke holding tool near the nipple to prevent twisting during tensioning and truing. Because of this, building wheels using these spokes should be left to experienced wheel builders.
Available in 250-310mm custom cut & threaded lengths, rounded to the nearest whole number (no decimals).
Threads are rolled, not cut, using exactly the same process as a spoke factory.
We also offer uncut 270mm and 310mm blank spokes without threads, if you're not sure of the length you need and you or your wheelbuilder have the ability to cut and thread them (270mm can be cut down to 240mm, 310mm can be cut as short as 275mm).
Spokes are sold individually, and nipples are not included.
ⓘ When adding spokes to a custom wheel build order, please choose 'custom wheel build - we calculate' from the menu list and we will determine the correct length based on the rims, hubs and lacing pattern chosen.
Please note: We do not provide spoke calculations if we are not building your wheels. If you are building your own wheels or having them built by someone else, you or the wheel builder are responsible for calculating and ordering the correct spoke length.
Unless there is a cutting/threading defect or shipping mistake, spokes are not returnable.
