White Industries ENO freewheel
White Industries makes the strongest, most-durable freewheels around. Serviceable, fully rebuildable and designed to last pretty much forever.
The ENO features a replaceable Enduro sealed cartridge bearing, 36-point engagement system with three pawls and a case hardened, nickel electro-plated outer gear case.
Available with either a black or gold center.
Specifications
• made in USA
• 16t compatible with 3/32" chains only, 17-22t compatible with 3/32" or 1/8" chains
• standard 1.370"x24tpi English threading
• sealed-cartridge bearing keeps out mud, grit and water
• uses standard four-prong removal tool (Park Tool FR-6)
Chain compatibility
White Industries specifically says 16t is only compatible with 3/32" chains because a 1/8" chain will rub on the freewheel body, preventing proper chain engagement and prematurely wearing out both the chain and freewheel gear, but who is anyone to tell you how to live?
Do whatever you want, champ! You are the master of your own destiny. Just don't come crying to us (or White Industries) when your drivetrain is loud and your fancy freewheel gets all chewed up.
